Every morning we had breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the mountains—super cool—and the staff were very friendly, helping with scooter, taxi, and other rentals. In the village of Munduk, walking through rice paddies and waterfalls is easy (about 3 h).

I really liked the location and the friendly reception lady, who made it easy to find all the services from London and the taxi. Everything I could need was available, and the price‑quality ratio was good. The breakfast was a bit sparse, and over the three nights the room was never clean, so the hygiene level didn’t meet European standards. There was no air conditioning, but in Munduk it was fine without it. Dinner was good and affordable.

The host was amazing and very kind, doing everything to make me feel at home and taking great care of me. Breakfast and dinner were simple but delicious, made with love. The windows aren’t sound‑proof, so it can get a bit noisy, and if you sleep lightly, earplugs might help.

“Muy buena relación calidad-precio”

We were pleasantly surprised. The cleaning was good, the bed comfortable, the room spacious, towels were provided, hot water was available, the shower pressure was good, and breakfast was included. The value for money was excellent. It’s a modest family house with everything needed to enjoy Munduk; don’t expect a five‑star hotel, but given the price I wouldn’t give it any criticism.
