The towels and sheets were stained, and when we asked for a change, they said it wasn’t possible at that moment; meanwhile, we were asked to check out early to accommodate tomorrow’s guests, the doors were noisy, and because the bathroom was outside the room, we woke up every time someone used it.

The location was great, central, quiet, and well serviced; the double room was pretty, and the external bathroom was basic but tidy and comfortable. Small upgrades in the triple room could make a difference: replace the taped‑up window glass, clean the limescale‑covered shower head that drips water, and add a wardrobe with linens in the corridor for each need (we had forgotten towels for someone and couldn’t get them back on a holiday).
