The place was stunning and right by the ferry, with a few restaurants (only one open because we were off‑season) and a small shop selling ice cream and essentials; the owners were friendly and helpful, and there were red squirrels, jackdaws, a nearby sea swim spot, and woodland walks; we liked the sauna and the pool for cooling off.

The pool and other public areas were nice, but the shower in the room felt a bit tight.

The pension was pretty, with small but tidy rooms, but it was expensive—2000 kr for a night and no breakfast, not even coffee.
