“A very pleasant one night stop over - definitely plan to go back”

The Quant cottage was a real gem, with its stunning garden and lovely verandah where I could sit and enjoy the views. The large bedroom was a pleasure to relax in, and the kitchenette and dining area were perfect for whipping up a quick meal. But what really let it down was the lack of decent coffee - instant just doesn't cut it, and I would have loved to have had the option for a plunger or bean to cup machine.

To be honest, our stay was completely unremarkable - everything was just fine, but nothing really stood out as particularly good or bad.

“I’ve stayed in quite a few Howick B&B’s and this is the best by far”

The cottage was a great size, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The garden was beautiful, and the private location was a real bonus. But despite the lovely surroundings, the cottage itself felt a bit bare and lacking in character.

We really enjoyed our self-contained cottage, which had a lovely dining/sitting room and a spacious bedroom. The bathroom was also a good size, and the secure parking on site was a big plus. However, my wife felt that a few things could be improved, such as the mismatched cutlery and the lack of decent lighting in the sitting room.
