“Lovely stay on the edge of Carcasonne”
Laura was a great host and the breakfast was lovely, and the rooms have a lot of character; we stayed there because we had a car and wanted to explore the area, and it was perfect for that – close to Carcasonne but also close to the main roads that take you to other places of interest; there isn’t much in Trebes itself, though it’s pleasant enough; an unexpected treat was found on the way into Carcasonne, 3 mins from the property, in a very unpromising looking retail park beside a Leclerc – there is an amazing boulangerie called Boulangerie Feuillette; everything is lovely and it’s the perfect stop to stock up on lunch for later, or on site; the mezzanine bed arrangement did mean that the ceiling was quite low for two tall people… but we managed! :-)
