“Saved us in an emergency”
The staff and most of the long‑term residents were friendly. Parking was available. Breakfast was basic but included and adequate. I wouldn’t call it the worst place to stay in the UK, but if the worst place closed, it would certainly be a contender. We had the family suite, which was very basic, and one of the beds was broken.
I would never stay here again; I wouldn’t even let my dog stay, and I asked for a refund but never received a reply or my money back—just 20 minutes before paying for a nice place to stay.

The room was clean, but ongoing construction made my stay not too comfortable.

The staff were lovely, and the place was clean and pleasant. Unfortunately there was no lift, and I accidentally entered someone else’s room because the keys were identical; I could lock it from the inside, but I was on the 2nd floor and had to leave the pushchair downstairs.
“Absolutely disgusting”
I was disgusted with everything; it doesn’t meet the expectations you publish and I would not recommend it. The hotel staff attitude and cleanliness were unacceptable.
