Everything was flawless. Genevieve’s breakfasts went beyond everything I expected, and she booked restaurants for me while chatting in English and my little French, making the conversations delightful. Parking and getting around Quarante (like any French village) was “tricky” at first but eventually made sense; there aren’t many local restaurants within walking distance, but several are a 10‑minute easy drive away, so a car is necessary, though locals are tolerant of confused drivers and street parking is easy to find.
