Great location, 10 minutes walk from the city centre and metro station few minutes away. Room prices are very reasonable, I’ve paid approximately £33 a night for one person. I was travelling alone and had a spacious room with two double beds and breakfast included for that price. The staff speaks English which is really helpful as my Spanish is atrocious, lol. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, with fresh towels, shampoo, soap and bootles of drinking water replenished every day. There is restaurant on the 2nd floor where you get your breakfast, and you can also buy a lunch or late dinner as it is open until 10pm. The prices of food are very reasonable and food tastes great. When I travel to Mexico City again in the future, will definitely stay at Castropol Hotel!. My room didn’t have view towards the front and the street, but I actually liked it that way as the noise was minimal

The breakfast was great, but it would be nice to have a minibar.
