The rooftop offers a great view of the Taj Mahal and the eastern gate is just a few minutes on foot. Upgrading to a room with air conditioning is wise during the hot season. I sampled their vegetarian tali set while enjoying the view, and it was delicious – exactly as advertised. The only downside was that renovations were underway during the off‑season, so the hotel felt a bit quieter. I’d have liked a water cooler in the room instead of a TV, but overall the room matched the description, so there’s nothing else to complain about.

The place is about a five‑minute walk from the Taj Mahal, the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional, the hotel was clean, quiet and had a welcoming vibe, the restaurant served tasty food made on‑site, I traveled alone and always felt safe, and the team gave me great tips for getting around Agra.
