“Ηταν μονο για ενα βραδυ ευτυχως αλλα δεν μας ικανοποιησε στα βασικα που ζητας απο ενα καταλυμα.”
Our stay fell far short of what we expected and certainly didn’t match the price we paid. The property is split between two separate buildings; after calling ahead we were sent to the “Byzantine” building where the reception sits, only to learn that our reservation was actually for the other building. That meant we had to leave our own building each morning just to get breakfast, a detail that was never mentioned when we booked. When we complained at reception they offered to move us to their own building and showed us an attic‑style room that felt more like a closed box than a proper bedroom, with no real windows—just two tiny roof openings, one of which wouldn’t open because the mechanism was missing, making it unsuitable for anyone with claustrophobia. The cleanliness was unacceptable: bathroom towels were covered in hair and didn’t smell clean at all, the bathroom stall was broken and its hinges were loose, indicating poor maintenance. The air‑conditioner was set to 16 °C but took about two hours to start cooling, which was a real problem in the heat. Breakfast ranged from mediocre to bad; the pastries were burnt, clearly over‑baked. The elevator gave us a strong feeling of insecurity, jerking suddenly and seeming like it might drop into the shaft. The only redeeming thing was the reception staff’s effort to find a solution to the two‑building issue.
