“Wir erinnern uns gerne ans Haus Weila und Familie Menge.”

We arrived like friends at Weila. Even though we booked just three nights on a whim because we had something to take care of nearby, it felt like a vacation: warm welcome, large parking, quiet room with amazing mattresses, and a brilliant breakfast spread like a kitchen party with everything you could want. The breakfast room was bathed in light and looked out over a huge garden. It was a shame we didn’t have more time to try everything. The free water station for a sip at night or early morning is a real plus. And the big highlight was the vegetable plate in the evening – vegetables taste so good when they’re not coming out of the fridge. We’ll definitely come back. We’ll recommend Weila without hesitation.

The staff were super friendly, rooms were clean, and the décor, garden, and outdoor seating were very nice. The EV charging and bike shed are great amenities for a hotel in this setting.

I was greeted with a warm, family‑like welcome that felt genuinely friendly. The charging spots for electric cars were conveniently positioned right outside the door—really convenient. The only downside was a few dead mosquitoes on the floor and in the bathroom, but they were easy to clear away and didn't affect the overall cleanliness of the place.

“wir kommen gerne wieder”

A hotel that feels like home! From the moment you walk in, you sense the special vibe. The rooms are beautifully designed, spotless, orderly, and decorated with great attention to detail. The whole hotel has a unique flair. Breakfast was excellent: modest instead of overloaded, full of organic items and a sustainable concept that avoids unnecessary waste – we were truly impressed. We arrived with our e‑bikes, and there’s a secure bike garage with plenty of charging spots – a real bonus. We’ll definitely return!
