“We had to change our hotel because of the condition of the hotel”
Nothing good to say. The rooms were very dirty, and the air‑conditioning vent had mold on it. My 79‑year‑old dad started coughing because of all the mold.

The location is central, but you can only rely on the bus; the metro is always about 900 m away. All six rooms we rented suffered from mold and some furniture was broken, the double rooms were so cramped that our suitcases barely fit, I’m not exaggerating. The fire alarm went off – it worked – even though there was no fire, and when we tried the emergency stairs the exit door to the street was locked… yikes… eventually we found a poorly sign‑posted door to the lobby.

The location was spot on, making it a breeze to hop around Singapore and hit the nearby sights. The rooms were cozy enough for our needs and the hotel served as a solid base for our short trip. Overall, it was a pleasant stay that worked well for our visit, with nothing major to complain about.

The staff were friendly, but the place was dirty. The bathroom had mould and was in disrepair, and there was a ball of rubbish(?) near the sink when we checked in that stayed there until we checked out. Something bit my wife on the face during the night, leaving a 12mm red mark a week later.

The only thing we liked was the comfy bed, cleanliness, and location. Everything else was terrible, especially the staff. The first impression at check‑in was bad, and another guest was complaining while we were lining up. Low occupancy that day and the next meant they couldn't even extend a couple of hours for a late check‑out. The day‑shift staff immediately said no and was very rude. For every hour past 12 noon they will charge SGD 20/hour, but the night‑shift staff said okay for a 1 pm check‑out. When we reconfirmed with the day staff the next day, he said it was not possible, even though we were assured an extra hour would be free of charge. No flexibility at all. The experience with the front office was the worst we've had. Also, who puts a sink next to the bed? Sinks belong in the bathroom, not in the bedroom right next to the bed. It was the narrowest room we've ever stayed in, different from what we saw on the website. Never believe what you see on the hotel’s website.
