Close to the sea, yeah, but that's about it. The place is a mess, no one cleaning, just some gruff guy who doesn't seem to care. No reception, no storage for your stuff, and don't even get me started on the broken locks. The pics are pretty misleading, and to top it off, some critter's been getting into the food at night. Not impressed.

The spot's got a great vibe, right by the beach and a unique river view. That being said, it's more of a hotel than a hostel, just a room for rent, and there's no kitchen area. Still, the setting's nice, just don't expect too much in terms of amenities.

The location's not bad, but that's where it ends. The place is falling apart, and with no mosquito control or screens, you're basically a buffet for the local bugs. And don't forget the heat - no fans to be found, making it almost unbearable in the room.

This beachfront hotel is a real gem, with lovely staff and unbeatable location right next to some great seafood restaurants. Yeah, it's pretty basic and the bathrooms aren't en-suite, but for the price, it's a total steal. I mean, who needs fancy amenities when you're just looking to relax on the beach? The staff are super friendly, which makes up for the no-frills vibe.
