A charming house with a stunning view of the river and the city, far from Kandy’s hustle. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is especially comfortable. Highly recommend it.

We stayed in the family suite. The view from the private balcony or from the courtyard pool was breathtaking. The food at the hotel was excellent. We felt completely at ease in this very family‑friendly, small hotel. They offered a morning excursion with the chef to the market, where we could pick up fruit, spices and learn about local life.

“Belle villa avec vue !”

A magnificent villa! We spent three nights here. The place is sublime, tastefully decorated, the spaces are very pleasant and the terrace with the pool is simply incredible! We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The staff are very welcoming, very friendly – a real plus! The meals and breakfasts are very good and tasty.

“Beautiful property with stunning views and excellent in-house restaurant!”

Villa Rosa is exceptional. It’s a beautiful property with stunning views. We had our room upgraded for free, which shows excellent management and their focus on giving the best possible customer experience. The room was amazing, the pool was great for chilling out and watching the sunset, and the breakfast and dinner were on par with fine‑dining restaurant quality. Definitely highly recommended, and the tuk‑tuk ride from central Kandy was a fun bit of travel!
