Everything was dirty – the laundry, the blankets, the towels, all had stains, and I felt very uncomfortable that one night. I didn’t see any staff; everything was contactless.
“für eine Nacht in Ordnung !”
The reception was very friendly, but until midnight the building was very noisy with knocking and rumbling from the upper floor, the cause was unclear.
“Als letzte Möglichkeit noch okay.”
Check‑in and check‑out were very comfortable, there was free coffee, the location was good and reachable by public transport, but the bathroom smelled of sewage and the room smelled of cannabis. The smoke detector listed was missing, messages were not answered, the room furnishings were worn, the toilet flush was partially broken, and the bedding had lost its best quality, giving the place a shabby impression overall.
“Würde ich definitiv nicht noch einmal buchen.”
The university was close and the station was nearby, but before the room change the room was dirty, smelled of mold, the walls were full of holes, and the furnishings were worn. After the first night a room change was possible, yet mold still lingered in the bathroom, the towels had holes, the furniture was outdated, and the bed was sagging, though the upgraded room was tolerable.
“Better go to youth hostel”
It was close to the tramway and there was instant coffee/tea in the room, but check‑in was unavailable, communication was not proactive, there was no lift, the place smelled like a dormitory, the room was very small and the bed/mattress was of very bad quality. For the price I expected basics and was very upset; not recommended.
