The Double or Twin with Ensuite offers one single bed and one double bed for two guests. An en‑suite bathroom provides private facilities. A flat‑screen television and tea/coffee making provisions are available for entertainment and convenience.
“A treat to stay in an old inn that the owners have taken a lot of care to preserve”
The location was great, the staff were extremely helpful and the bike storage excellent, and we ate at the inn where the food was delicious. No negatives.

The room was comfortable, the bathroom modern, the bed comfy, and the bicycle spot was secure. Breakfast started at 9am, which was too late for me, and the staff had left a cold breakfast the night before.

The history and the genuine English pub vibe were exactly what we wanted; the wonky floors and decor were just brilliant. The host was great and the breakfast fabulous. All good.
