We were very happy with our stay; the place was well maintained and super comfortable, the service was top‑class with always‑smiling, friendly, and helpful staff, and the breakfasts were a highlight – varied and packed with local fruit, simply excellent.

The accommodation was very quiet, well kept, and the garden was lush with many fruit trees; if you walk, the property is a bit far from the bus stop, the beach, and shops, but that’s manageable. I recommend the breakfast prepared by Salid with garden fruit – it’s amazing for 7,5 €, and the staff are very friendly and available, so chat with them.

The host was fantastic, the garden full of beautiful flowers and trees offers a peaceful escape, and the river’s sound is a real bonus for immersing yourself in nature; you won’t be disappointed – it feels like home.

The stay on the other side of Mahe gave us easy access to all the best beaches on the island; a car is essential if you don’t want to hike or rely on local buses. The owner grows many fruits in her garden and has a lovely dog.
