“Reasonable value, far from the downtown core and attached to a hospital complex”
The room was a good size and clean. Reception and the hospital cafeteria staff were very friendly, and there’s a tuck shop for snacks, but no nearby restaurants. Nobody cleaned the room during the two nights I stayed. The location is far from downtown New Orleans and feels like a hospital hotel for patients or families; it’s connected to the hospital, so hospital staff wander the corridors, which made it feel a bit institutional. Also, a rideshare to downtown is pricey, and public bus or the iconic tram takes an hour each way.
