The rooms were nice, clean, and the breakfast was really good, but the double bed was probably the smallest I’ve ever slept in, which made the night slightly uncomfortable, so I give it a 7.0/10.

The pub was nice, the food tasty, and the staff friendly, but the direct flight path from Stansted Airport was a drawback, resulting in a 7.0/10.

I stayed a second time at the Swan in a great location within a picturesque historic town. The rooms were cosy and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, linen, TV, and a shower. No complaints at all, and I’ll definitely return. Thanks to all the staff for everything they did. The only minor issue was that the proximity to Stansted meant a fair amount of air traffic, but it didn’t disturb our sleep. I give it a 10.0/10.
