“Good location and price”
The location was very good, close to everything we wanted to do, and the price was good for the area. It can get very noisy at night with cars and motorcycles revving their engines. The rooms are adequate but a bit dated.
“Would stay again:) Wallace is the best!”
We love the location and the price. We also love seeing Wallace’s smiling face—he’s a five‑star employee, friendly and helpful! The pool was not open and the rooftop deck was unavailable this stay, which we always enjoy. The rooms could use some updating (carpet especially, some stains on chairs, etc.) but for the price it’s okay.
“Great location, helpful staff, very noisy, not for light sleepers.”
The spot was spot on—just a block from the river, downtown, and a bunch of bars and restaurants. The beds were insanely comfy, the room spotless, and the staff were super helpful. They even let us stash our bags at the hotel a few hours before check‑in and after check‑out. The restaurant under the hotel wasn’t bad either. On the downside, the walls are thin and our room sat right next to the ice machine, which can be jarringly loud after 11 pm even with ear plugs. You can hear neighbors through the vents, and the city traffic outside is loud as usual. The cleaning crew starts around 8/9 am, and the vacuuming can wake up people still trying to sleep.
The place was familiar and old. It was dirty, loud, and old.
The location was great and the staff were friendly. The windows were boarded up, there was an unpleasant smell, and the rooftop or pool was open.
