“pratique pour un séjour de courte durée”
Hotel in front of the metro, many shops and restaurants around, good value for money.

Access requires a key; the staff are not attentive after a certain time at night and never respond to the phone; we had to pay for another hotel night because we didn’t have the code and they hadn’t sent us a formal email with all the instructions; never answer the phone.

The spot was convenient, yet the rooms felt very cramped.

The location was good, but the sheets were sold out and there were hair and fur everywhere—hair on the bathroom walls and on the floor, dirty furniture, stains, and the floor hadn’t been washed.

The view was pretty in the morning sunshine, the metro is right outside, a nice café nearby, but overall there isn’t much more to like. The hotel is unsanitary, which made a bad first impression on my partner and me on our first trip to Paris. We arrived tired, walked into the café next to the hotel doors, and the owner—who also owns the hotel—gave us the keys. As soon as we walked into our room, the sheets were messy with crumbs, and the bathroom floor had used towels. We went back downstairs to explain that the room hadn’t been cleaned; the woman went up the stairs, spoke to someone for about 5 minutes, then returned to say it would be cleaned. We waited in the room until the cleaner arrived, which took about 10 minutes. She had a bag of cleaning products and roughly wiped down the toilet seat, changed the bed sheets and pillowcase, but left the dirty, stained, unwashed duvet cover and only put a clean lining underneath it. When we asked if we should leave so she could clean thoroughly, she said no. We’re not sure if it was a miscommunication. Additional issues: mold on the bathroom ceiling (photos attached), contact not working, one bed light not working, lamp detached from the ceiling, wallpaper peeling. We understand you pay what you get for, but basic cleanliness should have been met.
