I was disappointed with the breakfast: the eggs were consistently bad, the waffle maker was misadjusted so the waffles were raw in the middle, and the oatmeal had an odd taste.

The room was nice, and my coworker had just moved to Gibbs Street, so it wasn’t too far from her—about a 20‑minute walk. I was charged an extra $20.00 for room #329, which I didn’t see as a suite but just a double bed; no fancy room at all. I might not use them again if that $20.00 isn’t refunded to my credit account. I’m a veteran and was staying at a few places from the Booklet (Fairfield Inn).

The biscuits and gravy were a highlight. The window needed darker curtains; it was too shiny.
