I loved the spot—right in the middle of everything. The night was chilly, and I’m not a fan of sleeping with the heater on, plus my room didn’t have an extra blanket in the cupboard; I didn’t call early enough to see if they could get me one.

We were going to be late for check‑in, so we called the lodge and they had no problem putting our key in their lock box, letting us check in after hours.

Nothing good here. The room and linens were filthy and stank; it seemed like the same dirty linens had been used for a couple of stays.

The location is fine, but the place is very dated and doesn’t look like the pictures. It’s unclean: sticky countertops, mould in the bathroom, a dirty TV with sticky controls, a dusty couch, no phone, no extra toilet paper, a bed with rust stains on the sheets, and a large, blood‑stained curtain.
