The beds were great and the location was good, but for the price this hotel was a bit cheap. I was also called back because I supposedly had an outstanding bill, which turned out to be their mistake.

The price was low, but there was no hair dryer, the bed was too soft, and the keycard had to be reactivated every day during my three‑day stay. I paid the bill immediately and was asked to pay again at checkout.

The first room we received was barely comparable to a Motel 6, nowhere near Best Western standards, and the family room we were moved to had a staircase that was hard to manage, so we slept separately for two nights. The room was not clean; spiders hung from the ceiling, the shower had bird droppings, the balcony and chairs were covered in dead bugs, and the veranda was full of insects. Had I not paid cash at check‑in, I would have left for another hotel. The area is good, but the experience was not worth it. Everything else was far below the standard of a signature collection property, which would normally cost about $50 a night in Canada. It’s insulting that this property is even sold, let alone misrepresented as a “plus” type of hotel. The only advantage is its location, and I’m surprised anyone would book it.

The hotel had a good location and a lovely sea view, but dinner could only be had in the hotel’s restaurant.

The hotel was in a good location, but the room didn’t match the photos on Booking, was quite dirty, the small windows were dirty, the carpet was unclean, there was no hair dryer, the coffee machine was at the top, and the breakfast was very sparse.
