I was double booked for the same night and paid, and I was told to contact the staff to get a live person to resolve this; the date was Sunday 8/23, it should have been 8/23 and 8/24, and I left on 8/25.
“Bien. Personnel acceuillant”
The location, the staff, the pool, the spa, and the restaurants across the street were all great. The breakfast was not.
“Nice location”
The location was nice and the room was comfortable. The only issue was that there were three of us and my daughter and granddaughter had to sleep in a very small bed; I had hoped for a bigger bed for the two of them but it did not happen.
“Bien”
The staff, the microwave and coffee machine plus the small fridge in the room were efficient, the place was very clean, and it was the only affordable option I found nearby; a shopping mall across the street with restaurants, a supermarket and other shops. The hotel was old-fashioned (clearly from a time of carefree hyper-consumption), basic, built of wood, so you could hear people above. Better in summer than in winter, which I had already experienced. The breakfast was very basic in an abandoned old restaurant, country style: plastic bread, bacon and over‑scrambled eggs, sparse fruit, nothing like a European buffet with choices.
“Buona soluzione vicino a Sausalito”
The location was good for visiting Sausalito, Tiburon and the Golden Gate, and the pool was beautiful.
