“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a beautiful part of Ireland”
The Glamping site sits in a village full of cafés, pubs and sights, but it would be nice to have a toilet in the pod for late‑night needs.

The location was great, the owner lovely, the kitchen well organized, but walking to the toilet was a bit inconvenient.

I loved the peace, quiet, and the beautiful outlook from the pod; the kitchen was spotless and it was great to cook for myself. The nearby Monastic City and walking trails were spectacular. The local shop has good supplies, but you might want to stock up in a larger town before arriving if you need anything specific. Walking to the bathroom in the rain and wind at night 😀 – that’s part of the experience too!

The place is beautiful and everything was very clean, but the bed felt quite hard 😟; I woke up with back pain. I’m not sure if all pods have the same bed quality, but ours wasn’t very comfortable. There are no bathrooms or showers inside the pods; you have to walk a bit to reach the shared bathrooms and showers.

Upon arrival we were immediately greeted kindly by Patrick, which made us feel at home right away. He gave us some information and tips about the area and let us enjoy our own time, which was very nice! The location is truly breathtaking, the view was phenomenal, and we even saw wild deer in the park between the houses. The kitchen has all the facilities you need, and the toilet/bathroom areas are neatly clean. From the accommodation you’re within a 5‑minute walk to a restaurant and supermarket, and a 5‑minute drive takes you to the Glendalough visitor centre—perfect! The only downside we noticed was that the bed was very hard, but that’s just a matter of taste.
