This accommodation was absolutely perfect. Where to start? It’s in the very heart of Bari Vecchia, right around the corner from the famous alley where Italian *nonnas* make pasta on the street. Everything is within walking distance. The place was clean, comfortable, and practical; as a woman, I really appreciated the ample storage space in the bathroom. Communication with the host was seamless. We were allowed a late check‑in, and when a problem arose with opening the room upon arrival, the lady resolved it immediately and was with us within 10 minutes. The mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, though it might suit someone else. Also, the handle on the entrance door was slightly loose on the inside, so it would be good to tighten it. These are just minor details that don’t dampen my enthusiasm.

The studio was big and in a good spot, but we had no water all day after we arrived. The staff seemed uninterested in customers’ needs, and our room wasn’t ready when we got there. They didn’t come to clean it when the water finally came, and we never got a towel change during the eight days. The dining table and chairs were damaged, though the bathroom was spacious. Watch out for water usage because the pump has a small capacity.

I liked how well the place was positioned, but I couldn’t leave the air conditioning on when I wasn’t home and it was scorching hot when I got back.

“Lovely stay, would recommend staying for location.”

The location is great, and the balcony is lovely. The host was very responsive and the facilities were clean. The kitchen had very little equipment, and adding a few wine glasses would have been nice.

“Solo se rimani poco tempo”

The place sits in the heart of old Bari, just steps from the city’s main sights. The studio was recently renovated and has potential if small details were taken care of. However, there were few comforts: for two people staying three days, only two tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash were provided. Towels for the bidet were missing, and there was no place to put luggage except the table/bed. Artificial light stayed on because there was no suitable curtain. I had to ask for check‑in info, but after that the contact person was friendly. Finding parking on holidays was tough.
