I loved that they offered a complimentary happy hour and breakfast, but the pool area was a bit loud.

The property was gorgeous, spotless, and welcoming, and breakfast was excellent; Chris and the other valets were incredibly helpful, but the night‑time outside noise was a bother.

We appreciated the breakfast variety, though you have to move fast because the food and plates get scarce; the omelette bar was good, and the small arcade and unique pool were nice. The room was drafty with a lexan window seal that didn’t work, and it was very noisy. I called for an extra blanket and ordered dinner delivery at the same time; an hour later the food arrived, yet the blanket was still missing for another 45 minutes after several more calls. Valet parking cost $80, which is outrageous; if you can find another spot, just do it. They did get my truck down quickly, but trucks normally cost $100.

Such a cool historical building! 2 hot tubs, great restaurant attached. Just the $70 valet parking but that’s how it goes when you stay downtown :)

The property is absolutely stunning, and I’m thrilled Embassy turned a historic hotel into a gem; it’s also within walking distance of Voodoo Donuts. The only drawback is that downtown can get a little spicy at night.
