The room stayed spotless, and the hotel was quiet at night. We enjoyed the evening Kick Back event in the lobby, which included food and drinks that were part of our reservation, and they even had a barbecue that night. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and good. The elevators on one side were a bit unsettling; the bell didn’t work properly and it squeaked loudly when used, plus some of the button lights were broken. That was only one elevator; the other worked fine. A recent inspection certificate was displayed, so it was probably safe, but it still made me nervous.

“Great deal for the budget concious traveler.”

It was the perfect spot for our travel plans, with great connections to the Metrobus and Metrolink. A big plus was the breakfast and light dinner selections. The bed could have been a bit firmer to match my personal taste, but otherwise it was comfortable.

The location was good. The rooms felt outdated, and the bathroom was too small for my husband and me. The room rate was on the high side.
