The owner was very welcoming and went to great lengths to understand our needs, such as helping us explore the area; we spoke little Spanish and she spoke little English, so we used Google Translate to meet in the middle. It was lovely to wake up each morning to hear the donkey in the field outside, and the terrace overlooking the mountain was a nice spot to sit in the evenings. An extra cushion on the bed would have helped, and a few more cushions on the outdoor chairs would have been nice.

I don’t usually use superlatives, but this spot was truly amazing for a few days of peace and relaxation in the mountains; the owner and her daughter were very kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and for a reasonable price you could also dine there (we ate there two out of three evenings and it was wonderful). Waking up to the stunning view was a real treat. The only downside is that you have to drive 8 km on a narrow—but safe—road to get there, which is well signposted but might make some people a bit nervous.

The build and details make you feel fully immersed in nature; Patricia was delightful and I’ll return. The access path gets tricky at night, but during the day it’s wonderful.
