“My stay was a dream.”
The staff at Fiddle and Bow were kind, welcoming, and professional, making my stay excellent.
The room was beautiful, the landscape stunning, the music great, and I loved Doolin.
“Perfect stay in Doolin”
Parking behind the hotel was convenient, and there were several dinner spots within walking distance; we had to drive to find a table because we hadn’t booked, but luckily we got a spot at McGann’s. I stopped by the hotel bar for a drink and caught a short live music set, though I wished there was a place to sit and enjoy it since we were up early. I strongly suggest making dinner reservations at any Doolin spot you plan to visit. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, a perfect start to the day, and the rooms fit our needs; the electrical converter in the drawer was a real bonus. We also tried the seaweed baths at Doolin Pier and would recommend them to anyone in the area. Overall, a very memorable experience. The only downside was that we didn’t book dinner at the hotel, which would have made things less stressful.
“It was a 10 out of 10 and I would definitely stay there again!”
We loved Fiddle and Bow! The location was excellent. We stayed in the Family Room with 3 beds and it was wonderful, with all the extras and fabulous beds. It was clean and comfortable. We ate at Russell’s and it was the best meal of the entire trip. We walked to the nearby pubs and really enjoyed the Irish pubs and music sessions—everything was wonderful, no complaints.
“Sleepless in Doolin”
I was disappointed by how pricey everything felt, especially since the hotel sits on a busy road and a bar‑restaurant on the premises means you’re kept up by drunk patrons at night. Even though some parts were renovated, most of the building still looks old and poorly insulated, and the room—no AC and a tiny bed—was barely comfortable.
