“TV's 4 in a bed loser's I'm guessing”

The place was warm and had a variety of mobile phone chargers, yet the door knocked loudly, the handle had to be turned to enter, the owner opened the window and shouted that we shouldn’t be there even though we had booked two nights, so we left; I called the listed number hoping to reach the owner, but it was the cleaner’s number, which explains why it wasn’t answered after hours when we struggled to get into the room.

“Don't bother”

The location was convenient for my needs, though nothing was nearby; the bed broke because of cheap spring slats and a poor previous repair, the bathroom and room were not very clean and the bedding hadn’t been changed before I arrived, the front door didn’t lock, the room door locked but didn’t fit well, and the overall cheap feel matched a room priced the same as a Travelodge.

Finding it was easy, parking was available, and the bathroom was fine, but the mattress was awful, well past its best, extremely uncomfortable, and it only had a bottom sheet—no duvet, just an old‑fashioned bed topper.

I liked the area of the accommodation, it was in a good spot, the room itself was nice and very clean, we loved the self‑check‑in and check‑out which made it much easier and it was easy to find; overall the room was brilliant and the people staying there were very pleasant and friendly, but the only downside was that we were in room 1 and some young lads came back late at night, unsure if they lived there or were staying there, and they brought a few people with them and had the TV on loud until early hours, which left me with a pounding headache and a bad night’s sleep; if that hadn’t happened I would have given it a 10 out of 10 because everything else was perfect.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and they acted as a local tour guide.
