How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
We, three people, had two rooms and a bathroom that could be locked separately in the host’s house. The room had an air conditioner, a fridge, and a TV. If needed, we could use the host’s kitchen. There was parking near the house. The host was very pleasant and courteous. Thanks for the hospitality and patience with my two teenagers. Everything was fine.

Nothing. The accommodation was tidy, but there was no kitchen.

The hygiene was good. The ad did not match reality. It was like staying at a grandmother’s home, and you have to walk through her private space to reach your room and terrace. She also appeared unannounced in your rooms and got angry when you hung laundry on the cupboards. We had planned to stay two nights, but because she was again unannounced in the room, we left at 23:00 that evening. The listing said she spoke several languages, but she only spoke Croatian.

At first the owner was kind, which would have set a good tone; on the departure day, not noticing the checkout time, at 10.10 we were prompted by the owner to leave the room. Though we were almost ready, after a few minutes she entered our room and started removing the rugs and told us to leave in a very rude way, even criticizing my husband’s effort to prepare breakfast for me (“that poor guy who does everything”). She even threatened to call the agency. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE 😑 The room was small, access to the terrace was through the owner’s living room, and we had to make tea while she invaded our personal space. She started talking from 6 am, making it hard to sleep.
