This place sits in a tiny town and GPS led us straight there; parking is plenty. The ground‑floor room looked a bit old but was clean and comfy. Dinner at the on‑site restaurant was really good, though the service felt a touch amateurish. With only three other couples around, breakfast was better than excellent, but it still felt amateurish – no cereal bowls, no extra plates, just the one. All in all, I’d still recommend it.

At breakfast we had to ask for a kettle several times even though we were staying multiple nights. The room wasn’t always made, wasn’t very clean on arrival, and the bed was sometimes just re‑fluffed with the blanket. The room was noisy, facing the road, and the hotel sits at a corner junction. The fan that should have been in the room was missing, as was the coffee maker. There was no wardrobe.
