The surroundings were beautiful, and I enjoyed soaking up the sun on the balcony with a view of the mountains, eternal snow, and lush greenery. The last stretch to the hotel was quite winding and steep. The hotel itself has no restaurant, so walking to the nearest one involves a steep descent or climb.

The view from the terrace and/or balcony of NP Gran Paradiso was fantastic. A lift was available, and the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices.

The staff were fantastic—thanks, ladies! It would have been nice to have a water heater and some tea in the room, or at least at the hotel entrance, so guests don't have to bring a kettle to each room. Otherwise the place is beautiful and the staff very kind—thank you.
