“Freundlich, gut und sauber.”
The staff, location, and breakfast are excellent, but there is no restaurant service in the evenings, only small snacks.
Everything was great, but parking was a hassle – no smart parking solution, so we had to keep circling the neighborhood to find a spot.
“Check-in/check-out automatisés: arrivée tard et repartie tôt”
The room and furnishings are good, but the bathroom is bare.
The location is central and the staff are very friendly; the breakfast is plentiful and the windows open easily, though rooms at the back of the hotel have ventilation noise.
“absolutely brilliant hotel in a lovely town”
The hotel was amazing, offering great value with a large room, fridge, coffee machine, balcony, etc., right in the middle of town and near the train station; the staff were lovely, checking me in and serving a great breakfast upstairs. Biel/Bienne proved to be a very good base, with plenty happening nearby and close to major attractions, though it was quite noisy at night, mostly due to surrounding bars rather than the hotel itself.
