The ladies who host breakfast are just lovely, welcoming and accommodating. My mum asked for eggs every day and they were happy to do it. The breakfast varied each day, which is also a highlight. Try the cactus fruit! The masseria is beautiful, it’s traditional and rustic and exactly what I expected. The grounds are stunning, the location is just 4 minutes from Nardo which is perfect for an evening dinner. The pool area is beautiful and the water was also very warm. The bathrooms are large and the beds comfy. There is air‑con throughout the apartment; we stayed in the deluxe 2‑bedroom which also has its own outdoor seating area. Be prepared for ants; this doesn’t bother me or my family as it is to be expected when you’re staying in the countryside, but I was bitten by them quite a few times.
