The breakfast was great and varied, though the fried eggs always seemed over‑cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel sits nicely on the mountain edge, right at the forest. The room, balcony and bathroom were all spacious. The seating in room 22 was uncomfortable, almost like junk furniture; after half an hour on the chairs we had back pain and wanted to watch from the bed, but the TV was too small to see anything.

The place was quiet, with a nice view and good location. Unfortunately we couldn’t order dessert after our 20.30 dinner; the website clearly says the kitchen closes at 21.00. Very disappointing.

Everything was perfect ! The 2 Ladies at the reception were warm, friendly, very informative and always ready to help. The room was exceptional, immense, cosy and warm with all the necessary things inside. Everything was perfectly clean, all the staff members were beyond helpful, nice , polite and service was at the highest levels ! The swimming pool area and the Spa Area are just simply amazing, we had a perfect day relaxin by the pool, sauna and all the ammenities. we were so relaxed that we even fell asleep twice , haha ! Food was absolutely delicious, large portions and the decoration in the restaurant and Lounge was great - an amazing atmosphere perfect for relaxing ! We also saw deers in the little park in front of the hotel and the surroundings are amazin for a 30 min - 2 hour walk. It feels like heaven and it will be definitely a place where we will return every year as we loved it greatly!

The Heimathenhof is a very beautiful house that nicely blends old architecture with modern touches. It’s a place to feel at home and relax. The room was large, the bed very comfortable, and the balcony offered a forest view—everything I liked. The restaurant is excellent! The breakfast was very varied. The wellness area is also very appealing. The only downside was the lack of a coffee or tea maker in the room, which lowers the rating. The egg dishes on the breakfast buffet were poor: the scrambled eggs were hard and dry, the fried eggs were also dried out under the warming lamp, and the soft‑boiled eggs sat in a hot warming bed and were stone‑hard.
