The Artists' Palace Florence sits 200 m from Santa Maria del Fiore, offering panoramic views of Piazza San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapel. Contemporary, air‑conditioned rooms feature minibars, flat‑screen TVs, iPod docks, and private bathrooms with showers and free toiletries. Free Wi‑Fi, proximity to Santa Maria Novella station, and nearby Strozzi Palace enhance its appeal.

We LOVED our stay here! The location is incredible, within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and next to so many restaurants and shops, it also felt very safe. The building itself is historic and charming, and they've done a great job to provide modern touches (bathrooms, AC units) while maintaining the feeling that you're staying in a building that DaVinci once lived in. Super clean and comfortable. The breakfast, provided just down the street at La Menegere, was NEXT LEVEL. Don't skip the breakfast! Lastly, the staff was amazing! Our flight into Florence arrived at about 7:40pm and their reception closes at 8:00pm. We received a call shortly after landing from one of the staff (I wish I could remember her name!!) letting us know how to get to the hotel from the airport by tram, and assuring us that she would wait for us to arrive to check us in personally

Location, decoration, staff. Listing was not clear that breakfast is not actually on site. Housekeeping was not as attentive to details as they could be (didn’t restock sugar, shampoo, etc)

Location excellent - easy walking distance to Duomo and most other must-see sights . Easy walk to railway station. Elevator was small - only room for two people or one person with luggage
