The spot was close to everything we needed, which was a plus. But the lock‑box code didn’t work, so I had to call the owner. We’d just come from a 3½‑hour drive with a 3‑year‑old in a freezing weather, and the owner said the cleaner hadn’t shown up yet, so we had to wait outside while she “did some things.” No towels were in the room – I had to get them delivered later, and they looked old, thin, like she’d taken them from her own cupboard. I even had to kill two spiders in the kid’s bedroom.
