A serious safety issue occurred during my stay. The glass bathroom door suddenly shattered while I was opening it normally, without excessive force or improper handling, and the broken glass cut my hand. Instead of properly addressing the safety issue and my injury, the property later tried to make me pay for the damaged door and demanded an extremely high and completely unreasonable amount of compensation. I strongly dispute that I was responsible for the damage. After this experience, we would not feel safe staying here again. I hope the property takes this incident seriously and properly inspects its bathroom glass doors to prevent another guest from being injured. Here is our reply to this property's response: 1. “There was no problem with this shower enclosure.” Of course you deny any problem and avoid responsibility. The issue was the right-hand shower door, and it is unbelievable that you still do not know where the actual safety issue was! 2. “There was no evidence of any kind of cut.” What a cruel and absurd excuse! I was in shock—my priority was to stop the bleeding, not photograph a bloody wound! Even without injury, this was a serious safety hazard! What right do you have to demand such private evidence from a guest? And then you tried to charge me—was injuring a guest supposed to be an extra paid service? 3. “Writing these things after you checked out two hours after the time specified , without having requested it, is also leaving us with a significant loss.” On the day we checked out on time, but waited for >1h and wanted to discuss it in person, but no one came. I had no intention of leaving a negative review—until you tried to charge us an outrageous amount after we left! Demanding money from us after a safety incident was completely unacceptable! Your response only reinforces the impression that guests are treated primarily as a source of money rather than as people whose safety and concerns deserve respect
