The service was good.
The water was drinkable, but the bed was too hard, the AC didn’t work, and the room was sweltering; a muezzin woke me up in the middle of the night and street noise made it impossible to sleep. The bathroom was filthy, there was no sink in the room so we had to use the one in the lobby, and the manager was invisible—probably to avoid complaints. Avoid this place!
“Good location but not much else”
The location was good with many restaurants nearby, rooms were set back from the busy street so they were quiet, the place was very clean, and there was 24‑hour access plus free water and a kitchen to use. However, the small, cramped room had no windows, making it stuffy and smelly; the wall fan was broken and I had to switch to a different room. The bed was very narrow and the frame had sharp edges, so sitting on it was uncomfortable. Other guests left dirty dishes and utensils in the sink, the water ran out and the gallon jar wasn’t refilled, and the glass doors next to the kitchen had minimal covering, letting in light that made it hard to sleep. There was no rack for drying clothes, and when I left my phone charger behind the hotel wouldn’t send it to me in Bali unless I paid for it—something they should have handled as a courtesy. I won’t stay here again; it’s just a place to sleep if you can tolerate the lack of atmosphere and comfort.
The staff were incredibly friendly and the place was spotless.
The water was free and towels were supplied, but the staff didn’t speak English and the walls weren’t sound‑proof, so you could hear everything happening in the hallway and in neighboring rooms.
