“Fun unique place to stay.”
The vibe was cool and funky, but I wish the breakfast had been better.

The main advantage was how close it was to UW and the restaurants, making it super convenient for college trips. EV charging was available, and refillable water bottles were a nice touch. I’ve stayed here before in nicer rooms, so I wouldn’t have paid this price for this particular room. The price was a huge demand‑based markup because of the UW move‑in rush. Coffee at the café was mediocre; I drink straight espresso, so there was no milk to mask the flavor. The bed was far too soft, causing pain that interfered with my daily activities by the end of the stay. The room felt darker and more depressing than other rooms at the same hotel, and I was disturbed by loud footsteps in the space above late into the night and as early as 5 am. Having lived in NY and used to high‑density living, this was a lot. $3 k for five nights of bad sleep was excessive.

We really liked the hotel and the location. The staff were friendly and offered a welcome drink. The pricing, however, is so high that it’s hard for anyone to enjoy a good stay, especially on a Sunday.

The staff were great. It’s pricey, though—almost $400 for just one night.

The rooms were well appointed and attractive. Breakfast at the attached café was only marginal; the breakfast burrito seemed like a heated‑up frozen burrito.
