“Terrible”
During my 2 night stay I had not hot water in my bathroom ! Breakfast was very poor I would not recommend staying here. Staff not helpful to solve the issue
“An excellent, tranquil and friendly base for Muthaiga and the embassy region of Nairobi”
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, surrounded by tranquil gardens and verdant surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and our spacious and clean room was a great place to relax. If I'm being picky, a couple of lightbulbs needed replacing and the toilet seat was loose, but these were minor quibbles in an otherwise wonderful stay.
“Below expectation”
Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel fell short of our expectations. The room was freezing, and the shower was a disaster - the hot and cold water didn't work properly, and the shower head was faulty. To top it off, the TV was hanging precariously from the wall. It was a bit of a nightmare, to be honest.
“Zwei Aufenthalte mit gemischten Erfahrungen: Zimmer nur nach Diskussion erhalten, Verbesserungen bei Strom und WLAN, Poo”
I stayed twice during my safari trip – once before and once after – and got mixed impressions. On the first stay I was given a room without natural light even though I’d booked a different one through Booking; a power outage from heavy rains in Nairobi cut the Wi‑Fi and the pool looked unkempt. The second time I hoped for better service, but I was again offered a room without daylight at check‑in. After a long discussion I finally received the room I’d booked. At the front desk they asked why I needed two beds when one would suffice, which was odd since I’d booked a specific room. It seemed I only got the right room because March had lower occupancy and more rooms were available. On the second visit there was no power outage and Wi‑Fi was being fixed; the pool was leaf‑free but the floor still looked yellow and could use a deeper clean. The staff were generally friendly and the food at the hotel was good. My advice for future guests: double‑check at check‑in that you’re getting the room you booked.
Our stay at this hotel was super relaxed and comfortable. The staff were always happy to help, and their friendly smiles made us feel right at home. It's not the most luxurious place, but it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy some quality time.
