“Decent stay in Taipei”
The room was huge, the Wi‑Fi worked great, and the spot was decent even though it’s a bit far from metro stops. The staff didn’t feel very welcoming and often didn’t even acknowledge you.

The place was stylish, clean, and lovely. The only downside was that there were no toothbrushes or razors.

The air conditioning was too cold.

The location was good, but the soundproofing could use improvement.

Overall this is a nice hotel in a good location near Ximending. The rooms are keen and have good facilities. The breakfast is an all you can eat hotpot. The only real challenge was, like many hotels in Taiwan, they take a pre-authorisation payment on your card to put the amount you will pay on hold. This is normally fine, but in this instance instead of the staff member finalising that transaction when I arrived, they make a completely separate payment, leaving a chunk of money frozen until I can get my bank to release it again
