The room was okay, but the first thing you notice when you walk into the reception is a bad smell that needs improvement.

The hotel was very good, with a spacious, comfortable, and clean room and perfect bedding. It’s ideally located in Old Hanoi. The manager, Henry, is especially friendly, attentive, and clearly a real highlight of the property. We booked a street‑view room, which was larger but also much noisier. If you want peace, ask for a courtyard room: no view, but far quieter. Breakfast isn’t included, but that’s actually better because it lets you explore nearby cafés. Just next door is a charming little café in a courtyard called May Café, and a local bakery at the back where you can see elderly people playing mah‑jong, giving you a taste of old Hanoi. We loved it! In short, we highly recommend this address for its excellent value.

The central location was perfect, close to all the main attractions, including the famous Train Street. The rooms were simple but very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly.
