“I didn’t like it enough to say I will stay there again next year for lodge”
The place was pretty full, but the absence of a pool really put a damper on things, and if waffles weren’t your thing, the breakfast fell flat.

Two blonde ladies tried to help us when we arrived and even offered to carry some of our stuff up because there was no elevator. The manager was the absolute worst—snotty, uninterested in fixing the mold‑smelling room we started in (the A/C unit on the wall and water bubbling under the painted drywall) or the room we were moved to. We got the new room at 1030 pm, but it didn’t cool until 230 am; it was intolerably hot on arrival, probably near 90 °F, making us sweat like crazy and creating a perfect mold environment. Outside was over 90 °F when we arrived, and the inside felt even hotter because they didn’t keep rooms at a basic temperature. The next morning I told the manager how bad it had been, and he just wanted to talk over me, wouldn’t listen, and wouldn’t offer any discount. He didn’t apologize until I insisted they at least say sorry. At almost 930 am he told me that if we left by 11 am he wouldn’t charge for the second night, but no discount for the horrendous first night. We barely slept because of the heat. We had a wedding to attend by 11 am, so we had no time to get ready, pack up, and find a new hotel in 30 minutes, so we had to stay the second night. No discount at all for the poor room in this crummy motel with a lousy manager. Although he would normally not bother, my husband is considering reporting the terrible mold problem to his OSHA and EPA contacts because of the manager’s lack of concern. As a side note, the small continental breakfast was only served from 6 to 9 am sharp; it was completely gone by 9 am, including spoons and napkins.

The bathroom was my only concern, but it could have been a lot cleaner.

The staff were friendly, but the showers need updating and the carpet could use a good cleaning.

Nice people on staff who were very helpful. Parts of the hotel had been remodeled but others had not, and the exterior looked a little run down.
