The breakfast was lovely – everything you could wish for. The only downside was the chaos at breakfast with a huge number of families; it was autumn break and many were heading to Aquarama and the zoo.

The hotel offers great value before taking the ferry, and the breakfast is unbeatable. The only gripe is that the breakfast buffet opens later on weekends than during the week.

The location and easy parking were nice. The metal pipes (or the scrawls) decorating the room were a bit off; the floor was pretty worn, and there was no separate bath towel – I had to use one of the others after showering.

The location was very practical and pleasant. The room wasn’t the cleanest, and it was poorly insulated, so a lot of noise got in.
