The owner’s friendliness made it easy to visit the city and she prepared a very good local dinner for us.

The stay was in a very quiet area with a lovely garden, everything was spotless. The owner was charming, very helpful, and the kitchen served delicious food, with dinner and breakfast on the porch. All was superb and plentiful. The food was typical Sri Lankan. She helped with everything, knows a lot about transport, what to visit, can arrange an English‑speaking taxi, and can give a tour of all the monuments at very good prices. The Millenium Lodge is highly recommended.

A good two‑night stay. Our hostess was very attentive and we were warmly welcomed. The meals were excellent, and she gave little touches for our two‑year‑old son, who also received a nice welcome. The room was minimalist and not very spacious.

The lady was very kind, the breakfast was decent, the room was clean enough, but the bed quality kept me from sleeping well. The lady was nice and the place is good.

“Séjour très agréable et paisible.”

The reception, the friendliness, the cleanliness, the availability, the excellent breakfast, the terrace and garden, the very friendly lady and the listening attitude were all great. The air‑conditioner was noisy.
