Walking into the property felt beautiful, the staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean but looked more basic than the photos showed, and the walk from the main town area was quite a distance, so I wouldn’t feel safe doing it after dark.

The room was very nice and clean, the area was quiet and only a few minutes on foot from several shops, the breakfast was very good, but the roosters kept “singing” non‑stop from 3 am.

The tropical garden overlooking the rooms is beautiful, and the hotel sits in a fairly central spot, 10/15 minutes to the main avenues. However, the building looks much worse than the photos, far older and dated. Our bathroom was poorly set up, and the sink faucet had no water in the morning. Breakfast didn’t feature a buffet like in the pictures; instead, food was brought to the table (eggs, fruit, crackers, and a fried bread). Even after we flagged the gluten‑free request during booking and reiterated it to the waitress when ordering for my celiac sister, she was still served gluten‑containing bread that contaminated her entire dish. The staff seemed unhelpful, and at night we tried to call for a taxi because we couldn’t find one, but no one answered; the reception was manned, so we think the call was simply ignored. It’s fine if you have no high expectations and just need a place to stay for one night in Leticia.
